Pay with HSA/FSA

The Adam Sensor may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement, with Burst's help, when used as part of a plan to assist with health conditions such as erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, post-prostatectomy or pelvic surgery recovery, or cardiovascular risk where applicable. Burst connects you with a licensed clinician who can review your case and, if appropriate, issue a Letter of Medical Necessity. Once issued, Burst can file your reimbursement claim. If your administrator approves it, funds are returned to your account.

An LMN is a signed statement from a licensed clinician explaining that a product or service is medically necessary to support diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring of a health condition. Most HSA and FSA administrators require an LMN before they'll reimburse you for certain products and services. If you qualify, a clinician in Burst's network can issue one as part of your clinical intake, so you don't need a separate appointment. Whether a Letter of Medical Necessity is issued is the independent clinical judgment of the reviewing practitioner. HSA and FSA reimbursement is determined by your plan administrator and is not guaranteed.

Going forward, the cleanest path is to complete your LMN request at the time of purchase, and check your plan for any retroactive flexibility.
