Questions
What is Testometer?
The Testometer kit is an at-home saliva testosterone test that we're developing. It uses a reader, a saliva cartridge and the Testometer app.
Who is Testometer for?
Adult men who want to understand their testosterone and the habits linked with it. Before you start, we'll tell you who should and shouldn't use it.
When can I get Testometer?
We plan to launch Testometer in early 2027. It isn't for sale yet. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it's ready.
Is there an early testing program?
Yes. Our alpha testing program starts soon, ahead of launch. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee a place. We'll share progress by email.
What will Testometer show me?
In the Testometer app, you'll see:
- Your results: your testosterone, cortisol and nitric-oxide status, shown as words on a simple scale rather than numbers.
- Your habits: sleep, training, body fat and daylight, tracked next to your results.
- Your trends: how your day, week and month compare.
Results are for wellness tracking. They aren't a diagnosis or a medical assessment.
How does a test work?
Add a little saliva to a cartridge and click it into the reader. About 15 minutes later, your result shows in the Testometer app. Full instructions come before your first test.
Does Testometer replace a blood test?
No. It uses saliva, and your result is a status on a simple scale rather than a lab value.
It isn't a substitute for a blood test or advice from a clinician.
How often should I test?
It's up to you. In studies of men, testosterone is usually highest in the morning and varies from one day to the next.
We'll share guidance on when to test before you start.
How much will it cost? Is there a subscription?
We haven't announced pricing yet, including whether there will be a subscription. We'll share it before launch. Joining the waitlist is free.
Which phones will Testometer work with?
We're still confirming which phones Testometer will work with. We'll share this before you start.
How is my data used?
To join the waitlist, we only need your email. We'll use it to send you Testometer updates and other Adam Health news, and you can unsubscribe anytime. Our privacy policy has the details.
Before your first test, we'll share how Testometer handles your results.
Can Testometer diagnose a health condition?
No. Testometer is being developed as a general wellness product. It isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
If you have concerns about your health, speak to your doctor.
